Here's a closer look (and a recommendation) for one of our more avant garde new releases this week.

From the Mouth of the Sun - Woven Tide (Experimedia)

This is collaboration between Dag Rosenqvist, who usually records as Jasper TX, and Aaron Martin.  The duo brings together a beautiful blend of minimalist classical themes and subtle yet suffused atmospheric drone.  Fans of soundtracks by Peter Broderick or Johann Johannson... or the quieter music of Godspeed You Black Emperor! will find much to like here.
