I remember playing it a lot in the store when it came out and many regular customers assumed I was listening to it "ironically." I too liked Source Tags and Codes, but with the new one I find they've embraced their inner 70s concept album child... the little bit of Styx and Rush we slightly older folks outwardly cringe at but inwardly feel our cockles all warm and tingly-like. Besides, I give high marks to bands who work "C*nt" into their lyrics. Good on 'em. Keep the backlash coming, though.e.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09853646944977823278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10098846.post-1136486387547250212006-01-05T14:39:00.000-04:002006-01-05T14:39:00.000-04:00Your list made me feel so much better about myself...Your list made me feel so much better about myself after pitchforks never-ending list of obscurity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10098846.post-1136476131995174052006-01-05T11:48:00.000-04:002006-01-05T11:48:00.000-04:00That Trail of Dead album was my biggest disappoint...That Trail of Dead album was my biggest disappointment this year. I know it is sort of the usual thing to diss that record, but I gotta go with the consensus on this one... the whole album just felt fake to me.

I loved Source Tags, and was quite unhappy with Worlds Apart as a followup.
